Vast Experience
Our founder and CEO, Michael Brown, is a 32 year veteran of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, retiring with distinction as a Supervisory Special Agent. Over the course of his career, he dedicated 25 years to the FBI's elite SWAT team, serving 7 of those years as a team leader. His expertise is further reinforced by serving five years as a certified Technically Trained Agent, where he conducted highly specialized technical surveillance operations.
Michael's record of achievement includes hundreds of arrests and an equal number of convictions, driven by his ability to lead and execute long-term, complex investigations in collaboration with federal, state and local law enforcement partners. His extensive trial experience is bolstered by his Juris Doctor degree, enabling him to navigate the legal system with exceptional precision.

He has served as the lead investigator in high-stakes undercover operations, spearheaded international drug conspiracy investigations resulting in the seizure of millions of dollars and large quantities of illegal narcotics, and was also the lead investigator on numerous violent crime, public corruption and organized crime investigations which were successfully prosecuted in U.S. District Court.

Michael has served on the FBI's Personal Protection Detail for the U.S. Attorney General and the Director of the FBI, ensuring the safety of the nation's top leaders.

Michael has received numerous awards and recognition for various achievements throughout his career, to include the FBI's prestigious Meritorious Achievement Medal for his actions during a hostage rescue operation, as well as numerous Letters of Commendation and Certificates of Achievement from the FBI Director for a wide variety of investigations he conducted throughout his career. Michael was awarded the US Department of Justice Law Enforcement Excellence Award as well as additional awards from the Michigan State Police, Cook County States Attorney, Cook County Sheriff's Department, Chicago Crime Commission, Illinois Tactical Officers Association and other law enforcement organizations.
